Te Whatu Ora is proposing to cut approximately 1500 roles as part of a restructure. Affected areas include the public health service, Hauora Māori, Pacific health, and data and digital teams. While around 700 of the affected positions are currently vacant, staff face significant uncertainty due to budget reductions.
