Reports find Wellington Water overpaying for repairs and prone to fraud

Two reports have revealed that Wellington Water has been paying contractors up to three times more than necessary for unplanned repairs. The investigations, which cost $330,000, also identified issues regarding widespread fraud within the council-owned entity.
