Police have seized more than $1.05 million in assets, including two houses, a boat, and cash. This follows a long-running investigation into an operation that enabled Brazilian nationals to perform unlawful sex work while on temporary visas. Maristela De Souza and Michael James Sloan were sentenced in 2024 for their involvement.
