Two landlords have been ordered to pay $25,900 to tenants in Māngere after they were unlawfully evicted for complaining about poor housing conditions. The Tenancy Tribunal found the properties had issues including sewage drainage problems and faulty smoke alarms. The landlords were also issued a six-year restraining order.
