Data from the 2023 Census shows over 9,000 people aged 65 and older earn more than $200,000 annually. Retirement Commissioner Jane Wrightson says it is fair to question if these high earners should receive NZ Super. Another 33,000 people in this age group earn between $100,000 and $200,000.
