Vehicles impounded and fines issued during Auckland beach police patrol

Police issued several fines and impounded multiple vehicles during a patrol at Karioitahi Beach in south Auckland. The beach, which is classified as a public road, recently had its speed limit reduced from 60km/h to 20km/h. The enforcement was part of Operation Beaches conducted at Karioitahi and Muriwai.
