New Zealand's national median house price fell 0.5 per cent year-on-year to $761,000 in August. While most regions saw price increases compared to last year, Waikato recorded a notable 13.2 per cent rise in sales. The Real Estate Institute of New Zealand suggests the impact of official cash rate cuts may take time to manifest.
