Nelson man jailed after stealing beer to celebrate court appearance

A 43-year-old man was arrested after stealing a box of beer from a Nelson supermarket on 18 August. He reportedly stole the alcohol to celebrate his upcoming sentencing. Police footage captured the man fleeing the store before he was later jailed.
