Mother sues school principal for defamation over emails to lawyer

A mother has launched a defamation lawsuit against a school principal. The legal action follows emails sent by the principal to a Family Court-appointed lawyer, in which the principal described the child's father as an exemplary parent and suggested the mother was denying him custody rights.
