Underslip reduces State Highway 2 to one lane in Waimana Gorge

Heavy rainfall and high Tauranga River levels have caused an underslip on State Highway 2 near Tāneatua. The incident has reduced the key freight route between Whakatāne and Ōpōtiki to a single lane. NZTA is currently working to find a solution.
