Man arrested for allegedly spitting at people on Auckland's North Shore

A 40-year-old Belmont man has been arrested and charged with assault following allegations of spitting at people in Devonport and Bayswater. Police say the man was located on Wairoa Road and allegedly attempted to spit at officers during his arrest. He is due to appear in the North Shore District Court on Tuesday.
