Large weather system to bring heavy rain and wind to New Zealand

Forecasters warn an atmospheric river will bring heavy rain and strong winds to parts of the country from Wednesday. The weather system is expected to impact northern and western areas of both islands. Overnight temperatures are also predicted to rise into the mid-to-high-teens for many locations.
