Logging trucks removed from Napier-Taihape Road following safety concerns

Residents living along the Napier-Taihape Road have expressed relief after logging trucks were removed from the narrow, winding highway. Local community members reported numerous close calls and safety concerns regarding the heavy vehicles. The trucks had been using the route following the arrival of the Winstone Pulp International Mill.
