Ashburton-raised filly sets New Zealand sale record at Karaka

A brown filly from Haunui Farm sold for $2.4 million at the Karaka yearling sales on Monday. The Savabeel-sired horse, which is a full sister to champion Orpheus, broke a 25-year-old record for the highest price ever paid for a filly in New Zealand.
