Snow Tane seeks judicial recount for Kaipara mayoral election

Snow Tane has applied for a judicial recount at the Whangārei District Court following the Kaipara District Council mayoral election. Tane finished second with 3,117 votes, trailing the winner, Jonathan Larsen, by 21 votes. A third candidate, Dr Jason Smith, has confirmed he will not seek a recount.
