Eight businesses targeted in Christchurch smash and grab raids

Police are investigating a series of overnight burglaries involving eight businesses in Christchurch. Seven shops on New Regent Street and one on Racecourse Road were broken into by individuals wearing masks and hoodies. The raids included several cafes, a tattoo parlour, and a jeweller.
