Man dies after being pulled from the water at Mount Maunganui

A man has died after being pulled unconscious from the sea at Mount Maunganui Beach on Wednesday evening. Emergency services were called to the scene around 6.10pm. Despite attempts to perform CPR, the man died at the beach.
