Fonterra to pay dairy farmers for climate efforts

Fonterra will pay an extra 1 to 5 cents per kilogram of milk solids to farms that meet specific climate criteria. The incentive programme is set to begin on 1 June, with the co-operative estimating that more than 5,000 farms will be eligible for the bonus.
