Teenager charged after staff member injured at Auckland youth justice facility

A 15-year-old boy has been charged with assault with a weapon following an incident at the Korowai Manaaki Youth Justice residence in Auckland. Police responded to reports of an assault at the Kiwi Tamaki Road address around 7.30pm, resulting in an injury to a staff member.
