Western Bay of Plenty nears regional deal for homes and jobs

The Western Bay of Plenty has signed a memorandum of understanding to negotiate a regional deal with the Government. The proposed agreement aims to deliver 40,000 new homes and 35,000 jobs. This follows the signing of similar memoranda for Auckland and Otago/Central Lakes.
