The New Zealand Transport Agency has released plans for a major State Highway 1 upgrade in Wellington, which may include new tunnels at Mt Victoria and The Terrace. The project, estimated to cost between $2.9 billion and $3.8 billion, will involve public feedback events held from 23 November to 6 December.
