Tauranga issued nearly $444 million in commercial building consents in 2024

Tauranga issued 274 commercial building consents valued at $443.8 million during 2024. Council records also show 1,067 residential consents worth $287.7 million were granted. Building services manager Steve Pearce noted significant development in the CBD and Tauriko suburb despite the economic downturn.
