Police are searching for three men following an unprovoked assault on a 16-year-old boy in Henderson. The incident occurred at approximately 2.09pm on 9 September at a bus stop on Swanson Road, near the Mihini Road intersection.
The teenager was waiting for a bus when he was approached by a man who punched him without warning. The force of the punch caused the victim to stumble into the roadway, resulting in facial injuries and bruising.
Witnesses observed three men drinking beer in the bus shelter prior to the incident. Following the assault, the three men left the shelter and walked along Mihini Road.
Police have released footage from their investigation and are specifically looking to speak with a man wearing a white shirt. Authorities are asking anyone with information or video footage to contact police via 105 or Crime Stoppers.
