A student in Gisborne suffered second-degree burns after a cottage pie spilled during reheating. Food Safety NZ found that the meal, supplied by Heinz Watties, was in packaging intended for domestic use rather than commercial reheating. Compass Group NZ was found at fault for failing to ensure the meal's suitability.
