Rotorua Lakes Council is trialling the relocation of the Night Market from the central city to Kuirau Park. Stallholders and retailers have expressed concern after reporting reduced foot traffic in the CBD and significant drops in trade. The trial began in October to reduce costs and address health and safety issues.
