Woman charged with murder after man dies in Kaitāia

A 57-year-old woman has been charged with murder following an assault at an Okahu Road property in Kaitāia on Sunday. Emergency services responded to the scene shortly after midday, where a man was found with critical injuries and died. The deceased has been identified as well-known entrepreneur and former politician Monty Knight.
