Rotorua council notifies public of Pūwhakamua consent application

Rotorua Lakes Council has decided to publicly notify a resource consent application for the Pūwhakamua prisoner reintegration facility to move to Waikite. The council is currently investigating the existing facility located near Rotorua Airport. The project is run by Tikanga Aroro Charitable Trust with funding from the Department of Corrections.
