Opera singer performs inside earthquake-damaged Christchurch Cathedral

Australian-Italian soprano Elena Perroni performed an aria inside the partially restored Christ Church Cathedral on Thursday. The performance took place ahead of New Zealand Opera's shows at the Isaac Theatre Royal. Dean Ben Truman stated that despite construction work being paused last year, the plan remains to reinstate the building.
