Police investigate discovery of human remains at Waihau Bay beach

Police are investigating after human remains were found at a beach in Waihau Bay, east of Ōpōtiki, on Friday. Authorities were notified of the discovery around 11.50am. Inquiries are currently underway to determine the age of the remains.
