Two kayakers rescued near Whangārei harbour entrance

Two kayakers were rescued by Coastguard Whangārei on Saturday evening after getting into difficulty near the harbour entrance. The pair had drifted approximately two miles out to sea before alerting rescuers by flashing their mobile phone torches in the dark.
