A retired surgeon has been released from a mental health treatment unit following a Family Court ruling. The man was involuntarily admitted after exhibiting erratic behaviour, which included spending $40,000 on a European trip to promote a plan regarding the war in Ukraine. The court found he was not a danger to himself or others.
