Taranaki life coach sentenced for assaulting golf buddy

Albert James has been sentenced in the New Plymouth District Court for injuring with intent to injure. The life coach attacked a golfing acquaintance in a bar in December 2024. He was ordered to complete 150 hours of community service, undergo nine months of supervision, and pay $5,000 in reparations.
