Name released of Whangamatā teenager killed in Kumeū car crash

Police have identified 16-year-old Elliot Ellis New as the passenger who died after a vehicle crashed into a property on the Coatesville-Riverhead Highway. The high-speed accident occurred on 27 June near Kumeū. Four teenagers were hospitalised following the incident.
