Man accused of stealing from rescue helicopter deemed fit for trial

A 31-year-old man appeared in Dunedin District Court on Wednesday after being deemed fit to plead to charges involving the theft of medical supplies from a rescue helicopter. The man, who has been in custody for over 10 months, also faces charges including six burglaries.
