A new advisory panel, Ngā Rangatira Mō Apōpō, has been established by young people impacted by whānau incarceration. The group met with Children's Minister Karen Chhour at Parliament to present an open letter. They are seeking more support to ensure children are not penalised for their family members' crimes.
