Man faces firearms charges after police welfare check near Sylvia Park

A 42-year-old man is due to appear in Manukau District Court after police discovered a shotgun, a rifle and ammunition in his vehicle. Officers found the man asleep in his car near Mt Wellington on Tuesday afternoon during a welfare check.
