Interislander cancelled two sailings on Sunday due to safety concerns from large swells and southerly winds. The affected trips included the 4pm Aratere from Wellington and the 8.50pm service from Picton. While Bluebridge sailings were expected to proceed, travellers were warned of potentially uncomfortable and longer journeys.
