Police name victim of New Lynn homicide

Joseph David Walsh, 32, died at a Kaponga Crescent property on Monday morning following a stabbing. Emergency services were called to the scene just before midday, but Walsh died despite efforts from first responders. A 28-year-old person has been charged with murder and is due in the Auckland High Court on 22 October.
