Gisborne man charged over death threats against former MP

A 19-year-old Gisborne man has been charged following a series of death threats directed at former Green MP Benjamin Doyle via social media in March. Police arrested the man on Wednesday, and he is due to appear in Gisborne District Court on 15 October. Further arrests may occur as investigations continue.
