Man charged with manslaughter following fatal Westport motel altercation

A 35-year-old man has been charged with manslaughter following an alleged altercation at the Palm Court Motel in Westport. The victim, 31-year-old Dylan James Coleman, was found critically injured on 31 July and died in hospital that evening. The accused is expected to appear in Westport District Court next week.
