Hendrix Haerewa, 46, has been sentenced to five years and one month in prison. Following a $50,000 safe robbery in Hastings, Haerewa led police on an 18-minute chase involving a loaded shotgun and rammed two police vehicles. The pursuit resulted in local school lockdowns before his arrest.
