Dog rescued after yacht sinks in Cass Bay during storm

A 12.5m yacht sank on its moorings in Cass Bay during a storm. A blue heeler dog named Buddy was rescued from the vessel and returned to his owner. Environment Canterbury reported no significant oil or fluid loss from the sinking yacht.
