Driver sentenced for causing death of Madison Chamberlain on Muriwai Beach

Jesse Hodge has been sentenced following a January 2024 incident where his Toyota Hilux flipped on Muriwai Beach. The vehicle rollover killed 19-year-old Madison Chamberlain while she was in the back tray. During sentencing at Waitakere District Court, family members addressed the driver regarding the fatal accident.
