Auckland church and representative fined for illegal building work

The Samoan Congregational Christian Church of New Zealand Māngere Trust and its representative, Sean Palala, have been convicted of 15 breaches of building and resource management laws. The Auckland District Court issued fines exceeding $82,000 following unlawful construction and use of the Māngere church and community centre.
