Humpback whale breaches near boat in Northland's Bream Bay

A group of friends fishing in Bream Bay witnessed a large humpback whale leap from the water. Michele Adams captured images of the animal breaching just 50 metres from her boat. The encounter included the whale flapping its fins during the display.
