The Disputes Tribunal has ordered a wedding venue to repay a couple $23,685 plus interest. The venue had previously refused to return the deposit, claiming the funds were stolen in a burglary shortly after they were provided. The owner had also accused the couple of being unable to hold their wedding without paying again.
