Frankie Edwards cleared of 2006 Epsom kidnapping charge

An investigation by the Criminal Cases Review Commission has quashed Frankie Edwards' conviction for a 2006 kidnapping in Epsom. While Edwards had previously admitted to five sexual assaults, the review found he was not responsible for the kidnapping of a woman near the Auckland Badminton Club. The kidnapping case remains unsolved.
