Coroner decides against inquiry into fatal Dunedin hit and run

A coroner has ruled that an inquiry into the 2022 death of Sean Buis is not necessary or desirable. Buis died from blunt force injuries in a Mornington hit and run following a dispute over a drug debt. Lane Colin Robert Moore pleaded guilty to manslaughter and was jailed for the incident.
