Young child seriously injured after being hit by car in Henderson

A young child was taken to hospital in serious condition after being struck by a car on Newington Road in Henderson on Friday afternoon. Police say the child sustained a broken leg and foot injuries. Motorists have been advised to expect traffic delays in the area.
