RMA Minister Chris Bishop has announced that Aucklanders will be able to provide feedback on new urban development plans. If councillors vote to replace Plan Change 78 next week, a public submission period is expected to run from November to December. Independent hearings regarding the new housing density and high-rise rules could take 18 months.
